This was the highlight of our stay in Kos, the Jasmine is a beautiful boat and Stefanos and Maria were a wonderful captain and host. I hired the boat for the day, 12:00-20:00 and we visited some beautiful quiet and private spots. The sea was rough which unfortunately restricted where we could go but the experience was just wonderful. Our hosts were friendly, with a love for peace, beauty and tranquility that we completely resonated with and helped enhance our day. We had freshly cooked fish on the beach which was so nice and saw a stunning sunset on the way back. The boat was comfortable with shaded and open areas to sunbath which suited us perfectly. It was so quiet and we felt the experience was very private and tranquil, just as we’d hoped.
We decided to book a private boat trip (family of 4) - We are so glad that we did this! 6 hours, stopping at two private beaches with a delicious lunch cooked for us by Stephanos! The fish was amazing! The boat "Jasmin" was spotless and very comfortable! We all really enjoyed swimming in the clear blue sea, snorkelling and checking out the fish! We purchased a cheap fishing rod in a local shop and also did some fishing off the boat! This day is one to remember and one to definitely consider if you are staying in Kos. Stephanos was lovely to chat to & clearly cares so much for his boat. We all felt very safe and welcomed. In honestly, my husband and I would have liked to have heard a little bit about the local area, the Islands in view and perhaps some history of the place (whilst sailing). We would have also liked to have been prewarned that sitting on the top deck was not the best idea for a rocky crossing. Stephanos was not fazed by the waves but having young children this was a little frightening. My daughter (age 8) cried the whole journey. The boat was moving so much that non of us could leave our seats!! My suggestion would be to sit behind Stephanos, initially anyway. Just until you can be sure that moving around is possible!! Definitely take snorkelling equipment and beach/water shoes. When the boat has been anchored make the most of the diving board, we didn't realise we could use this until 5 mins before leaving! I hope this review helps some people because booking a private boat trip is absolutely the way forward! We would 100% book again with Jasmin and Stephanos! Enjoy!
Certainly worth all the praise expressed by the people who were on the cruise before me. The skipper was very pleasant and courteous, and the boat is pleasant, aesthetic, clean, and clearly well-maintained. This is an experience unlike any you have ever had on a cruise. Absolutely worth every cent! We enjoyed every second, and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.
If you are looking for a unique cruise with an amazing sunset experience in Kos Jasmin private cruises is the best choice. My family, friends and I loved this cruise so much that it has now become a tradition when we visit Kos every year. Captain Stefanos makes our cruise every year so much fun and relaxing that it makes us not want to get off at the end of it. His grilled fish is absolutely amazing and if you arent a fish lover, you will definitely become one after tasting it.
